Principal system design

CompoCloset™ composting toilets are classed as urine diversion to container systems, offering a practical and hygienic solution for waste management by means of containment.

These systems separate liquids and solids into two separate chambers, prolonging the time it takes for a solids chamber to fill up, and simplifying disposal for those on the road.

Advanced features

The deep, ergonomic urinal design minimizes risk of splash back and overflow, while the in-bottle odour valve ensures additional freshness.

The liquids chamber features an LED indicator that alerts users when the container is almost full, allowing for timely emptying and preventing spills.

The solids chamber is equipped with a chamber-screen that conceals the compost—this can be opened with the twist of a dial when necessary.

Both chambers are easily accessible from the top of the unit, simplifying routine maintenance.

To vent or not to vent?

CompoCloset™ systems can be installed as permanent toilet fixtures and equipped with external venting systems.

They can also be used as portable toilets—they have side handles for easy transport and a carbon filter combined with internal air circulation (fanned) to manage odours without external venting.

To mix or not to mix?

For solids management, CompoCloset™ offers models with agitators that maximize space for composting, as well as lightweight systems without agitators—the solid chambers of which can be lined with compostable bags for effortless disposal.

CompoCloset™ toilets are ideally suited to RVs and camping scenarios, making them an excellent choice for adventurers and eco-conscious users.
