New Freedom Camping Regulations in the works

Freedom Camping regulations are changing. We know there is a lot of anxiety and speculation out there in regard to this and the requirement for fixed toilets.

Following our last year's submission to the MBIE, we've been asked to participate in consultation for the drafting of the new technical requirements for self-contained vehicles. As we go through this process, any information that has been disclosed to us has to remain confidential, but we can assure you that we are fighting to preserve the viability of different technology in this space!

As soon as the regulations are finalized and become public knowledge, we will update you as to what it means for you.
