    Sun-Mar™ | Centrex 3000 NE (Non Electric) - M/F Micro Flush

    Manufacturer: Sun-Mar™
    SKU: SMC-3000 NE MFP
The Sun-Mar Centrex system range is a split system, also known as an underfloor model. This means that the holding chamber is separate from the actual toilet pedestal itself. The major advantage of these systems is that they allow for greater holding capacity and therefore tend to be lower maintenance. If you have below-floor space for installation, then this is the range for you.

    Sun-Mar Microflush Pedestal Models 510 & 511

Model 510 is a standard height toilet model with regular sized seats allowing for ease of use.

ABS pipe (US spec) is supplied with the toilet. This is suitable for straight horizontal vent stacks.

If you'd like to adapt the unit to NZ pipe, please select this kit. You will need NZ pipe if you're looking to create elbows and bends.

You may need additional vent materials depending on how many storeys your building has.

Single Storey buildings with a high-profile roof (A frame or mono-pitch) require extra lengths of vent pipe - add one 830mm Vent Pipe Extension

Double Storey buildings require extra lengths of vent pipe. Please add 4 x 1m Vent Pipe Extensions.

Double Storey building with a high-profile roof (A frame or mono-pitch) require extra lengths of vent pipe - add one 830mm Vent Pipe Extension

Kit for stepping the vent stack around the eaves of the roof. Allows you to avoid penetrating the roof.

Add a wind-driven vent to create redundancy. The wind-driven vent will assist the fan under heavy wind conditions and keep the system going in case of power outage or fan failure.
Please choose from 2 colours: white or black.

Select this reducing collar to adapt the wind-driven vent from 150mm to 100mm.

Select this reducing collar to adapt the wind-driven vent from 150mm to 100mm.

Extend your drain pipe to reach your soak pit/trench.

The system is packed with 1 meter of 25mm leachate drain pipe as a standard.

Most soakaways should be installed 3 meters away from the foundations of the structure but this remains circumstantial to the site.

Run your leachate drain into a soak pit (vertical soak-away) or into a trench (horizontal soak-away).

Perfect for medium to heavy seasonal or medium residential use, the Centrex 3000 allows for both a longer composting cycle and the largest compost volume

Featuring Sun-Mar's™ patented Bio-drum™ technology, the Centrex is a true composting system that processes the compost in two stages within the unit itself.

The Centrex 3000 NE utilizes a continuous flow design for very heavy cottage or medium residential use. With a continuous flow system, rotation of the drum moves compost along the larger and longer 3000 series drum, before it drops automatically into the collection housing at the end of the unit. Under normal operating conditions, the drum will not have to be turned backward for emptying.

The Centrex 3000 NE - MFP is a high capacity, low voltage, “off-grid” alternative to the straight Centrex 3000 model. The system is designed for use in conjunction with a micro flush toilet pedestal and processes waste under the bathroom floor, the non-electric system is slightly smaller than its electric counterpart.

The Centrex 3000 NE (Non-Electric) is the non-electric version of the Centrex 3000 which is fitted with a 4" vent stack. Installation of a 12 Volt fan is optional, but it is recommended for heavy seasonal, residential use, or where the installation is particularly subject to downdraft, being surrounded by high trees or hills. We also recommend the fan if you need to install a bend in your vent stack.

With a larger compost capacity than the Centrex 2000 NE MFP model, the 3000 can comfortably accommodate up to 6 people in a holiday house situation. In a residential capacity, the compost needs to be emptied more frequently and is suitable for up to 4 people.

All Centrex 3000 series units are supplied with a 1" drain hose which should be connected to the 1" drain at the bottom left of the unit.

There is no heating unit in this model so it will operate beautifully on solar or mains power. Without the heater, the evaporation process is not as effective as in the 240-volt system. Therefore an overflow drain to a small subsurface gravel pit is required (200x40x40cm).

A 100 mm vent and low voltage fan help to ensure that odours are dispelled with the minimal electrical draw.

    Capacity
Listed capacities refer to the number of people, on average, using the unit per day. Do not pick a unit that is below your capacity.
